The Institute

The Land and Housing Institute (LH-I) is a research organization attached to the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), the largest public land developer and housing provider in Korea. Through specialized and field-based research activities, LH-I is exploring new driving forces for creating future value for the Korean economy.

LH-I has specialists and practical knowledge in the fields of urban development, land, housing and construction. With planning expertise and technical development services, LH-I supports the LH to fulfill its vision: “a top-class land and housing service corporation that creates happy living environments.” LH-I not only contributes to the implementation of housing welfare programs and execution of national projects, but also plays a path-finding role for the government to set up and implement the land and housing policies.

LHI is growing into a first-class research institute by expanding research activities for new value-creation of land, strategically promoting public land and housing projects, developing a creative economy and producing new growth drivers.
